Ann is a bookworm-maker-experimenter who is always eager to start a new creative project. She received her BAs from Lakeland College in Arts Administration, Theatre Administration, and Theatre, and is the Makerspace Coordinator at Mead Public Library in Sheboygan, WI, where she teaches many of the maker classes. Ann co-founded the Sheboygan Mini Maker Faire in 2018 and continues to coordinate it. She also developed the Mead Library STEM events of WinterGreen, a day of hands-on activities and presentations for all ages to "chase away the winter blues and welcome the greens of spring", and Tea & Tech Talk: Girls STEM Day, a day for young girls to participate in hands-on STEM activities and be mentored by local women working in STEM fields. Ann also manages the Book to Art Club, a book club hybrid that incorporates hands-on making with book discussions to further engage with literature.
