Residencies we can do

ARDUINO UNO MICROCONTROLLER

• Intro to Engineering, Electronics, and Coding with Arduino
  Learn to control LEDs, Buzzers, Servos, and RGB LEDs. Usually 6 class periods. Great for Grades 5 and up.
   
• Intermediate Engineering, Electronics and Coding with Arduino - Science Sensors
  Learn to use a Light Dependent Resistor, Temperature Sensor, Distance Sensor, Soil Moisture Sensor. Usually 6 class periods. Great for Grades 5 and up.
   
• Advanced Engineering, Electronics, and Coding with Arduino - Robotics
  Learn to build and code a robotic car. Usually 6 class periods. Great for Grades 7 and up.
   
• Engineering Water Quality Measurement Tools
  Learn to engineer a pH sensor, water temperature sensor, turbidity sensor, conductivity sensor and collect data.

ESP32 - INTERNET OF THINGS

• Internet of Things. 
  Select from a wide range of projects and learn to use the ESP32 microcontroller with Bluetooth and WiFi connected devices. For grades 8 and up. This is based on our IoT book.  https://gearboxlabs.org/curricula/IoT/IoT_Edition 

DATA COLLECTION USING ARDUINO UNO or ESP32

• Large data set collection.

3D DESIGN AND 3D PRINTING
 

• Introduction to 3D Printing and 3D Design
  Using Tinkercad, learn to design and print name tags, boxes, shape makers, and more

  Using Tinkercad, learn to design and print multicolor projects, use the sketch and revolve tools, make puzzles, and more

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

• Artificial Intelligence Prompt Engineering
  Learn to write prompts to do research, summarize, create outlines, write code, create images and more.

SPHERO

  Designed for K-4 students. Students learn how to control the Sphero indi as an introduction to robotics and coding. Can be one to five class periods.

  Designed for grade 4 -7 students. Students learn how to control the Sphero indi as an introduction to robotics and coding

The instrument set included Temperature, Humidity, Ozone, Benzene, and Methane with a camera and two SD Card readers to collect video and data.
   
• Prepare 8th grade students for Mars Innovation Challenge. Submission of automated environmental controls system. 
   
• 4th grade in Spanish introducing Arduino projects.
   
• Partner Residency -5th grade to introduce Arduinos. Gearbox Labs picks up with the middle school students
